Recipe: Stir-Fried Sengkuang

2 people

Ingredients 

1 small sengkuang, also known as bangkuang or sah kok.  (shredded into thick shreds)
1 tbsp 
dried shrimp
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Salt. pepper, and fish sauce (to taste)
1/2 cup water
Healthy cooking oil of your choice (olive oil is a healthier option)

Method

  1. Fry garlic and dried shrimp together in a tiny bit of oil over medium heat until lightly golden.
  2. Add in shredded sengkuang, salt, pepper, and fish sauce to taste.
  3. Fry till vegetables stick to the pan a little, then add 1/2 cup of water.
  4. Cook till sauce is reduced.
  5. Serve.
