Recipe: Raw Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients

2 cups almond flour (you can grind almond nuts into powdery flour texture)
¼ cup organic raw cacao butter, melted
½ cup organic raw cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla powder/extract
2 tbsp organic coconut palm sugar (or other sweetener like maple syrup or raw honey)
Pinch of sea salt

Yields

1 small brownie

Method

  1. Process all ingredients in food processor.
  2. Grease the insides of a square mould with some coconut oil.
  3. Spoon in the mixture, press in, and refrigerate.

 

Top Tip

This recipe works greats for raw chocolate cakes as well. Be creative with your ingredients, as it goes well with dates, flaxseed meal, goji berries, and more.

These raw ingredients aren’t the easiest things to locate (we know because we tried), but you’ll definitely find some at Justlife Organic stores. They stock an assortment of raw foods as well as other organic products.
